I have begun a new way of keeping in touch. I plan on posting a musing on the weeks that we do not have services. These musings may be about the Torah portion, it could be about something that has happened during the week, or it could be about something else. I will send the note to all and if you want to continue reading you will be provided a link to the Kol Ami web page. Click here for the July 30th “musing.”

Participate in Kol Ami's Lottery, one of our fund raising events. You simply pick your favorite three digit number. For only $10 per month (or a bargain price of $27 for 3 months, or a year for $100) you can be a winner! Participants will be given a CKAF Fund raising calendar for the month(s) that they have purchased. On each day, a jackpot amount is listed on the calendar, running between $18 and $100. If your number is drawn on that day, you win that amount! Drawing numbers are based on the Maryland Lottery Pick 3 (evening drawing). Be thinking of your favorite numbers and Click here for the August 2010 Lottery calendar. Not a Lottery watcher? You can track the winning numbers online at www.mdlottery.com! Just think, you have 30 chances to win for $10. These would make great gifts for teachers, babysitters, friends, dinner gifts, birthday gifts, etc. Contact Harriet Buxbaum at hhokey@comcast.net to purchase your months and for more details. Remember, you have to play to win!
