Donations to CKAF

The following nine funds are available for donations. Anyone wishing to make a donation to a specific fund should designate which fund in the “memo” line of their check. Any donations received without fund specification will be deposited into the General Fund. To fill-out and print a donation form on-line click here.

General Fund– funds to be added to the general operations account, for use at the discretion of the Board of Directors and the Budget & Finance Committee

Building Fund– funds to be sequestered for the express purpose of purchasing land and building and maintaining a synagogue

Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund– funds to be sequestered for distribution by the rabbi, at his/her discretion, to causes determined worthy by the rabbi; student rabbis will need the signature of the treasurer to disburse funds

Education Fund– funds to be sequestered for the express purpose of creating or maintaining religious school programming and adult education programming

Library Fund– funds to be sequestered for the express purpose of creating a CKAF library

Torah Fund– funds to be sequestered for the express purpose of purchasing new or used Toratot

Prayer Book Fund– funds to be sequestered for the express purpose of purchasing prayer books for the congregation

Liturgical Support Fund– funds to be sequestered for the express purpose of purchasing various religious items that are or may become necessary for the successful operation of the congregation, with the exception of Toratot and prayer books

Membership Relief Fund– funds to be sequestered for the express purpose of assisting needy families with their dues and fees obligations
