The Membership Committee is sponsoring Shabbat Across Frederick on Friday evening, February 19, 2010. We do not have services scheduled that evening, and Shabbat Across Frederick is not intended to be a formal gathering. We encourage all Jews in and around Frederick, members or not, to spend Shabbat with friends and/or family. Invite friends over for a quick Shabbat dinner, an evening of camaraderie and companionship. Bring Shabbat back into your home again, if only for one evening. Or, if Shabbat is a regular occurrence for your family, include others in your celebration of this, the most important Jewish holiday. You could invite other congregants, nonmembers, members of other congregations, or even non-Jews who may be interested in having a Shabbat meal.

February 2010 Coffee Club - Come to our Coffee Club, 9:30 am at Panera's, Route 26 in Walkersville. The February 2010 coffee dates will be Thursday, the 11th and Wednesday, the 24th. WSC Book Club - March 15th - The Women's Social Circle Book club is changing the time of it's meeting. By doing this we hope to encourage more people to attend. The first one will be a brown bag lunch (drinks and dessert will be provided) at noon on Monday, March 15th at the home of Carolyn Plaisance.
