The Congregation Kol Ami of Frederick Fundraising Committee consists of Kol Ami members who are charged with support of the congregation financially. The committee has three goals: to raise money to support Kol Ami; to include as many congregants as possible to both plan and attend these events; and to have fun!
The committee meets the first Tuesday of every month at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Frederick (UU) to review past events, discuss upcoming events, and brainstorm in order to plan new events for the coming year. Recent fundraising events include Casino Nights, honey and Krispy Kreme doughnut sales, trivia nights, the Jeannie Robertson concert, Barnes & Noble bookfair, Super Bowl party, Philadelphia Flower Show bus trip, Stella and Dot sale, Not-A-Party mailing, birthday grams, and operating a concession booth at select Frederick Keys games.
All of these events are planned by the Fundraising Committee and are coordinated by one of its members. They are listed on our Upcoming Events page and on our calendar, and are open to not only Kol Ami members, but friends and family as well.
